He hasowned it since July 2018. “I had been looking for a40th Anniversary for a few years, trying to find onewith the exact build sheet and condition I had inmind. The website 40Jahre911.com was amazing atposting every 40th for sale thoughout the world, which made the search very easy once I discoveredit,” he said.“I have previously owned a 1986 944 and 2002 Carrera. There are so many things to love about Porsche. Their racing pedigree initially hooked mewhen I was growing up. They build a precision, well engineered, beautiful car that instills an emotional connection from the driver. What more could you ask for?” he concluded.Chris Haverlock, Neenah WI, drives a 2012 991.1 Carrera S that is Agate Grey Metallic over a black and PlatinumGrey interior. He has owned it for nine months. “I found the car online. Bought a one-way plane ticket to Texas anddrove it back to Wisconsin,” he said. It is his first Porsche. What attracted him to Porsche ownership? “Porsche’s longstanding reputation for producing some of the best driver’s cars on the planet. I had several specific requirements formy car purchase at the time, and the 911 fit nearly all ofthe criteria extremely well. Ihad driven a 997.2 in Sweden a few years ago and thatwas the moment I started toconsider Porsche as a greatoption for me.”
